1½ c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 T. shortening (Crisco)
3 T. light corn syrup
4½ T. whole milk

In top of double boiler, combine all ingredients.
Place over hot, not boiling water, stirring occasionally, until mixture is smooth and well blended.
Let cool slightly before using to frost the puffs.
