2 cups vinegar
2 cups water
1/2 lb. butter (or half butter, half salad oil - all butter has a tendency to burn)
4 T. salt
2 T. worchestershire sauce

Recipe for 100
3 quarts vinegar
3 quarts water
4 lbs butter (half margarine or salad oil)
1 lb. salt (1 1/2 cups)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring all ingredients to a boil.
Spray or brush on chicken each time it's turned on the grill.

(It helps to keep sauce a little warm to keep it from separating)

This is the recipe used for the chicken served at the Ice Cream Socials at Plattsburg United Church of Christ. Dad used this recipe to grill chicken many times.
