Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups pretzels, crushed & broken (but not too fine)
¾ cup butter, melted
3 Tbsp sugar
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
8 oz cool whip, thawed
1 large box strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
2 cups sliced strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Spray bottom of 9x13 pan. Crush pretzels with your hand or rolling pin until broken but not too fine. In a bowl, mix pretzels, melted butter and sugar together. Spread evenly in bottom of prepared pan. Bake for 8 minutes, then allow to cool completely.

In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar together until fluffy. Add cool whip and mix until smooth. Spread evenly (be sure to seal all edges) over cooled pretzel layer.

In a medium bowl, combine boiling water and jello. Stir to completely dissolve, then add strawberries and stir. Allow the jello to partially gel before pouring over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until completely set.

Note: I often use frozen strawberries and allow them to partially thaw before using. The cold berries allow the jello to thicken more quickly.
