½ c. cold water
1 ½ sugar
1 ½ flour
1 t. baking powder
5 eggs, separated
¾ t. cream of tarter
¼ t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sift all dry ingredients together except cream of tartar. Beat water with egg yolks until lemon colored. Fold in mixed dry ingredients. Beat egg whites with cream of tarter until stiff. Gently fold into dry ingredients. Can be baked in ungreased tube pan or 9x13 cake pan. Bake approximately 1 hr. at 350º, or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
