1 cup sugar 4 cups milk 1 tsp. vanilla Cornstarch to thicken 6 eggs separated 1 tsp. sugar
Beat egg yolks and cornstarch. Add milk and sugar with egg mixture. Heat until thickened in a wide pan. Beat egg whites and 1 tsp. sugar until peaks form. Put in 1 spoonful at a time in hot custard mixture. Simmer. Turn once. Serve with custard.
