2 sticks softened butter
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ¼ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
3 cups oats (quick or old-fashioned)
1 12-oz package butterscotch-flavored chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
In large bowl, cream butters and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Stir in oats and chips.
Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7-8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9-10 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets. Remove to wire rack.
