½ cup short grain rice
2 cups boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ cups milk
½ cup sugar
½ tsp. salt
⅓ cup raisins
1 egg beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice in boiled salted water. When water is absorbed, continue cooking in a double boiler (or wearever pot) with milk, sugar, salt and raisins. When rice is cooked, add the beaten egg and cook stirring constantly for 2 minutes longer.
