5 medium potatoes
1/2 onion
8 pieces bacon (meat only)
1/2 stick butter
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Chop potatoes into bite-sized pieces and place in a pot with bacon and salt.
Cover with water (just enough to cover potatoes) and bring to a boil. Turn to simmer until soft.
Add equal parts milk as water in the pot and add the butter.
Salt and pepper to taste.

Keep on medium heat until hot.

Serve with french bread,
