1/2 cup butter or margarine at room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 cup fresh blueberries ( you can use frozen too)
2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk


Topping:
1 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 18 muffin cups
In bowl, mix butter until creamy. Add sugar and beat until pale and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
Beat in vanilla, baking powder and salt.
With spoon, fold in half of the flour, then 1/2 the milk, then repeat.
Fold in blueberries.
Spoon into muffin cups and sprinkle topping onto each muffin.

Bake at 375 degrees 20-30 minutes until golden brown and springy to touch.
