7 potatoes peeled and cut into bite size pieces
½ onion chopped
5 chicken bullion cubes
5 c. water
1 tsp. of salt
pepper to taste
⅓ c. butter
13 oz. can of evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients except evaporated milk into large pot. Cover and cook until potatoes are done. Stir in evaporated milk. Heat until thoroughly warmed.

Topping Options: shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits, sour cream, chopped chives

I have also made this asa cheddar potato soup. Add approximately two cups of shredded cheddar cheese add heat until all cheese is melted.
