Ingredients:

1 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a casserole dish or 8X8 glass pan.
Mix together the brown sugar, butter, flour and cinnamon. Peel and slice apples and put in dish with water. Spread the crumb mixture over the apples.
Bake at 350º F. for 30 to 40 minutes until the apples are tender, the crumbs are brown and the juice is bubbling up sides of dish.
I freeze unbaked and bake from the frozen state for at least 1 ½ hours. When covered with foil and plastic, crisps and pies will keep for 2 to 3 years. This topping I use for pies, rhubarb, blueberry and apple crisps.
