2 large eggs, fork-beaten
cup milk
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
1 tsp. Salt
tsp. Pepper
tsp dried sweet basil
tsp. ground thyme
2 cups finely chopped onion (1 cup works for me)
1 lb each lean ground beef and lean ground pork
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
cup ketchup

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 9 ingredients in a large bowl. Add beef & pork; mix well.
Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom of greased 5 quart (5L) slow cooker.
Spread with cheese.
Press other half of meat mixture over top.
Cover; cook on low for 10-11 hours or High for 5 5 hours.
Smooth ketchup over meat mixture during last hour of cooking.
