5 c. flour
2 eggs
½ c. sugar
1 tsp salt
1 c. shortening
½ c. lukewarm milk
2 cake yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Mix milk, sugar and salt together. Crumble yeast into mixture and stir until dissolved. Stir in eggs and shortening. Mix flour in with spoon and then hands. Keep dough as soft as possible, almost sticky. When dough begins to leave sides of the bowl, knead lightly on floured surface. Repeat until dough is smooth and doesn’t stick to the surface. Place in greased bowl and cover with damp cloth and let rise until doubled (1.5-2 hrs). Punch down and let rise again (30-45 min). Shape dough into balls and let rise until light (30-40 min). Bake at 400º for 20-25 min.
