Apple Nut Coffee Cake Recipe

1 c. flour
tsp. baking soda
tsp. baking powder
⅛ tsp. salt
c. sugar
c. shortening
1 egg
tsp. vanilla
1 chopped apple
c. sour cream

c. crushed nuts
c. packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
tsp. cinnamon

Grease 9x9x2 baking pan.
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Beat sugar and shortening until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla.
Stir apple into flour mixture.
Stir about half the apple mixture into the sugar mixture.
Stir in sour cream and then remaining flour mixture.
Spread evenly in greased pan.

Mix nuts, brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon together.
Sprinkle over coffee cake batter.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
