1/2 c rolled oats
2 1/4 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 c butter softened
3/4 c light brown sugar
3/4 c granulated sugar
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 tsp lemon juice
2 large eggs
3 cups milk chocolate chips
1 c chopped walnuts
2 Tbs sea salt flakes (optional)

Directions:

Pulse oats in food processor until resembling flour

In mixing bowl combine oats mixture with all dry ingredients.Set aside.

In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars...then add vanilla, lemon juiice, and eggs.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix with spatula, being careful not to overmix.

Add chocolate chips and walnuts, stir to combine.

Portion cookie dough onto lined baking sheets.

Refrigerate cookie dough for at least 2 - 4 hours.

Bake at 350 oven for 12-14 minutes, until golden brown.

Use some flaked salt for that delightful salty-sweet flavor.
