2 sticks of butter or oleo
3 c. sugar
6 eggs (large)
1 c. sour cream
tsp. soda
3 c. flour - sifted 3 times with the soda
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract (or tsp. almond extract)

Directions:
Directions:
Set aside sifted flour & soda. Cream butter & add sugar slowly. Cream well. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat we'll after each. Stir in dairy sour cream. Add flour mixture cup at a time beating well & constantly. Stir in extract & turn batter into well greased & floured 10 inch tube pan. Use salt free shortening to grease pan.

You may bake in 2 bread pans greased with Cisco. This way you can eat one & freeze one.)
