1 pound cranberries
1 cup water
2 cups apples, peeled and in 1 inch pieces
1 cup orange sections, no membrane
½ cup raisins or other dried fruit
3 cups sugar
zest of one orange
½ cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and sort cranberries. Bring cranberries and water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Turn down the temperature and simmer until the cranberries pop. Add remaining ingredients, except pecans. Cook until thick, stirring occasionally. If the sauce doesn't thicken, put a couple of teaspoons of arrow root or corn starch in a small bowl and combine it with a small amount of the juice from the sauce. Stir with a fork until smooth, add back to the pan and stir over low heat until thick.
