3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/4 pound or 1 stick butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoons milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in the top of a double boiler.

melt butter, then mix in the sugar alternately with milk. Add in salt and cocoa. Cook until smooth. Remove from heat, and wait until cool enough to pour over your cake.

Note: Do not let the icing harden. If it does, heat it again in the double boiler, adding more milk. if it hardens, it becomes fudge and will no longer have a smooth consistency if melted without milk.
