lb. Italian sausage, cut into pieces
⅓ c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
c. sliced fresh mushrooms
tsp. salt
Dash ground black pepper
8 oz. cut Ziti, uncooked
3 c. (28 oz. jar) spaghetti sauce
1 c. (4 oz) shredded Mozzarella cheese
c. grated Parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 350
Use 9x9x2 inch square dish

In large skillet brown sausage; add onion, garlic, and mushrooms.
Saute until mushrooms are tender but not brown; drain off excess fat.
Add salt and pepper; set aside.
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Combine pasta with 2 c. sauce.
Spread 1/4 c. sauce on bottom of baking dish
Arrane half of pasta in pan.
Spoon eggplant mixture evenly over pasta; top with 1/2 c sauce, 2/3 c. mozzarella cheese and 2 T. Parmesan cheese.
Cover with remaining pasta, sauce and cheeses.

Bake 25 minute or until hot and bubbly.
