1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups oatmeal
cup milk
1 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, and cream again. Add milk and oats, flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients. Roll dough and cut. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.

1 tsp lemon juice
lb dates
2/3 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together in a pot and cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Lower heat and continue to cook until mixture is one "mass" (no lumps) about 10 minutes. Once cookies are completely cooled, spread filling (does not have to be cooled).
