2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tlb baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 cups cornmeal
4 eggs
2 cups milk
1 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)

Directions:
Directions:

Mix cornmeal into milk in large bowl and let sit while mixing the remaining ingredients. Mix all the dry ingredients together in another bowl. Add eggs and oil to cornmeal mix well. Then add dry ingredients to wet and mix till just mixed . Do not over mix. Should still be a bit of flour still not incorporated. Cook at 425 in a 13" X 9" pan for 25-30 minutes. Or till toothpick comes out clean. Serve with maple syrup or icecream
