Batter mixture:
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup margarine melted
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar,baking powder and salt. Blend margarine and cocoa, then add it to the dry ingredients along with the milk and vanilla. Mix well. Put in a 9 inch square pan.

Mix together 3/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa, sprinkle over the batter. Carefully pour 1 1/2 cups hot water over all. Do not stir. Bake at 350F for 40 to 45 minuets.

Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream or liquid cream . Enjoy!!
