2 cups brown sugar
1/3 cup water
2 egg whites
Pinch of salt
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar and water until mixture spins a thread. Cool.

Beat egg whites until stiff.

Add salt, sugar and cream of tartar.

Continue to beat, add in cooled mixture.

Beat until icing will stand in peaks. Add vanilla.
