1 cups White Sugar
1- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
1 cup Margarine
1 tsp Vanilla
4 Eggs
2 cups sifted Cake Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
cup Maraschino Cherries (well drained,chopped)
cup chopped Pecans
Icing:
cup finely chopped Pecans
1 cups Icing Sugar
2 tbsp Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients and mix well.
Add eggs 1 at a time and beat well.
Gradually add 2 cups of flour mixing well.
Toss remaining cup flour in cherries and nuts
and fold in batter.
For 10" tube pan bake at 325F for 1 hr and 20 mins.
Cool for 5 mins and remove from pan.
If making icing combine pecans, icing sugar and milk and
drizzle over cake.
