½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup mashed bananas (3 small)
½ cup nuts (I use 1 c. chocolate chips instead of nuts and raisins)
½ cup raisins
2 eggs
1 ½ cup flour
½ cup sweet milk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Grease round layer cake pans or loaf pans or use muffin tins. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add vanilla and bananas. Dissolve salt in milk. Add 1 cup of flour alternately with milk. Add raisins and nuts to the remaining flour and mix in. Bake in layers of loaves at 350º F. for 30 ­to 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. For muffins, bake for 20 to ­25 minutes.
