6 cups red Rhubarb
2 cups sugar (3 if rhubarb is green)
1 big or 2 small boxes of strawberry jello
1 - 8-10 oz. bag frozen strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rhubarb in 1/4 cup water until mushy (if frozen drain off some of the liquid when thawed). Add sugar and cook another 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Turn off burner. Add jello and stir until dissolved. Add strawberries. Put in jars.

This is my mom's recipe that we had with fresh baked bread every Saturday morning growing up. My cousins would purposely stop in around 11:00 am to visit so they could sample the fresh jam and bread.
