1 can 15 oz Festal Pumpkin
1 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
3 eggs lightly, beaten
1 c. granulated sugar or light brown sugar
t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
t. each of cloves, nutmeg, and ginger
1 c. milk or evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 . Prepare 1 pie crust. Combine eggs, sugar, salt, and spices and beat well. Blend in Festal Pumpkin, add milk and beat well. Turn into pastry lined pie pan. Bake in hot 450 oven for 10 minutes. Then reduce heat and bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes. Pie is done when knife, inserted in center, comes out clean.

This is the pie recipe off the Festal Pumpkin can, but still the most well balanced pumpkin pie recipe, I've tried. Mom sent me this recipe to use when I was living in New Jersey for my first Thanksgiving away from Minnesota.
