8 medium baking potatoes (4 pounds)
2 c. shredded cheddar check, divided
1 16 oz container of sour cream
1 8 oz package of cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced (1/4 tsp dried)
1 T chopped fresh chives
1-1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
6 bacon slices ,cooked and crumbled)
4 green onions

Directions:
Bake potatoes. Peel potatoes and coarsely mash pulp with t potato masher. Stir in 1 cup cheese, sour cream and next 7 ingredients. Spoon into a lightly greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with remaining cup of cheese,bacon and green onions.
