1-1/2 cups sifted confectioners sugar
1 cup butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
2-1/2 cups flour, sifted
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter; add egg and flavorings, mix.

Sift dry ingredients and stir. Refrigerate 2-3 hours.

Heat oven to 375. Divide dough in half and roll out. Roll thin. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake 7-8 minutes or until golden brown.

1/2 stick of butter
canned milk
1 tsp vanilla or almond flavoring

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar. Add flavoring and enough canned milk to thin to spreading consistency.


You can add coloring as desired.
