2 cups sugar
2 cups corn syrup
dash of salt
cup melted butter
2 cups canned milk

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, corn syrup and salt to 245 F, stirring occasionally. add butter then gradually add the canned milk stirring constantly so that the mixture does not stop boiling. Stir and cook until 242 F (Soft ball stage) and remove from heat. Add vanilla and nuts (optional). Pour into an 8x8 inch pan. Cool, cut and wrap pieces in waxed paper.
