Ingredients:  
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cut of butter
2 eggs
2 cups of flour
1 tsp baking soda
3 soft ripe mashed bananas

Directions:

Cream sugar and butter. Add other ingredients and pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until center is dry to touch. Allow to cool.

When Rachel was a "mouse" upstairs at St. Dunstan's she cooked for everyone after their clean up day. This was the only year that there were two girls Rachel and Margaret and four boys. Rachel and Margaret would refer to them as the "lost boys." I always preferred four girls and two boys at St. Dunstan's. Now the upstairs is configured for three.
