12 oz uncooked pasta
6 cups fresh broccoli florets
5 cloves garlic, smashed and chopped
cup grated parmesan or Romano cheese
2 TBSP olive oil
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and broccoli at the same time and cook according to pasta directions for al dente. When pasta is done, reserve 1 cup of the pasta water and set aside. Drain pasta and broccoli.

2. Return pot to stove and set heat to high, add 1 TBSP olive oil, when hot add garlic. Cook until golden, reduce flame to low and add pasta and broccoli back to pot.

3. Mix well and add remaining olive oil, grated cheese and salt and pepper. Add 1/2 cup reserved pasta water if needed. Serve with grated cheese.
