33 vanilla wafers, ground
1/4 c. pecans, ground
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. margarine

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. persimmon pulp
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 8 oz. carton of Cool Whip

Directions:

Grind vanilla wafers and pecans in food processor. Add sugar and melted margarine. Press into bottom of pan up the sides. Bake 5 min. at 350. Let cool.

Combine filling ingredients: softened cream cheese, brown sugar, white sugar, add persimmon pulp, cinnamon, vanilla and lemon juice. Stir well. Fold in Cool Whip. Pour into crust. Refrigerate until firm. Sprinkle top with a handful of cookie crumbs and chopped nuts.
