3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 c. water
1 tsp. of candy flavoring
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients in a large sauce pan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil without stirring until temperature reaches 310 or forms hard brittle threads in cold water. Remove from heat. After boiling has stopped, stir in flavoring and coloring, if desired. Pour over lightly greased cookie sheet. Cool and break into pieces and toss with powdered sugar.

Makes 2 lbs. of candy.
