Pie Filling:
7-8 tart apples
3 tbsp butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Streusel Topping:
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup butter, creamed

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and core apples, slice thin. Melt butter in saucepan, add apples, toss to coat. Add sugar, cinnamon mix, toss. Arrange apples in pastry-lined pan, slightly heaping in the center. Make the streusel topping by mixing flour and cinnamon, stir in brown sugar. Cream butter and work in the flour mixture until well blended. Sprinkle on top of pie before baking.
Bake at 450-475 degrees for 20 minutes or until crust is brown. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Cover carefully with another pie pan and continue baking for 30 minutes.
