3 Tblsp olive oil
1 yellow onion
1 garlic clove
4 1/2 to 5 cups tomatoes
2 Tblsp parsley
2 tsp oregano
pinch of Allspice
1 cup red wine
1 (8 oz) tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute garlic and onion in the olive oil. Add chopped tomatoes, parsley, oregano, Allspice, red wine, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Cook on low-medium heat for about 45 minutes. You can add meat or vegetables to this before serving.
