1 ½ cups Vegetable Shortening (butter does not work)
2 ½ cups Sugar
8 Eggs
3 cups Flour
3 tsp flavoring (vanilla, lemon, almond etc.)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening with sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Slowly add flour and favoring. B eat for at least 5 minutes. Pour into well-greased tube pan. Bake at 325* for about 1 ½ hours.
