1/3 cup Shortening
2 cup Flour
½ cup sugar
½ tsp soda
1 Eggs
½ tsp salt
½ cup Molasses
1 tsp Ginger
½ cups Water
½ tsp each Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves

Glaze
Confectioners sugar
water to slightly thin consistency

Preheat oven to 400º. Mix ingredients in order. Drop 2” apart on a greased cookie sheet. Back for 8 min. Glaze while hot.
