1 cup raisins
1 cup water

1 ½ cup Sugar
1 cup Butter
2 eggs

3 cups flour
1 tsp soda

1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Glaze
Confectioners sugar
water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine raisins & water in small sauce pan. Simmer for 10 minutes or until water is absorbed. Cream sugar, butter & eggs. Mix flour & soda. Add the Creamed ingredients to the Mix to form a batter. Add the raisins (& nuts if desired)

For cookies spread on cookie sheet with 1 inch edge. For cake spread into an oblong cake pan. Bake at 350º until done. Glaze while hot and cut.
