Ingredients:  
2 lbs ground beef
1 small onion
2 tsp of fresh garlic or 1 tsp of dry
1 roll of 4 star chili mix
8 oz of tomato sauce or a bit more if you like more tomato flavor
2 cans of chili beans, I use one kidney and one chili
2 cups of water
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt or more to taste
2 1/2 to 3 tbsp of chili powder

Cook ground beef in stock pot. Add in chopped onion and garlic when beef is pink and almost brown. Drain when brown. Add all ingredients to pot. Bring to a simmer and cook on low for 4 hours.

You can find the 4 Star chili mix by the sausage and bacon in grocery store.
