1 C butter
¾ C sugar
¾ C brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 ¼ C flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 C chopped nuts (optional but seldom added)

Mix and spread into greased 15” x 10” pan. Bake 20 min at 375. Cool and cut. (makes 35 2” squares)

1/2 12 oz. package butterscotch chips may be substituted for 1/2 of the chocolate chips. I just sprinkle some of each until it is chipped enough!
