2 cups white sugar
2 cups light corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
14 oz can evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar and corn syrup over low heat until well mixed and boiling
Heat until mixture reaches 250ºF (check with candy thermometer) - Do not stir
Add butter and milk little by little and continue to boil mixture
Cook and stir until temperature reaches 248ºF
Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes
Add vanilla
Pour into 8 x 11 inch buttered pan
Cut into bite size pieces before serving
