½ cup butter, softened
2 T. sugar
½ tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 cup plus 2 T. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
½ cup buttermilk

Powdered sugar for topping

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together butter, sugar and salt until fluffy. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Combine flour and baking powder, then gradually add to batter while alternating with buttermilk. Pre- heat waffle iron.(We use a flip style Belgian iron) We use 1 heaping cup of batter for each waffle. Cook 2 minutes flip waffle iron and cook 2 more minutes.
