1½ to 2 lb. Sirloin
1 clove Garlic
6 T. Flour
1¾ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Paprika

¼ cup Shortening
½ cup chopped Onion
1 can Consommé
½ cup Water
1 lb. Mushrooms sliced
½ cup Sour Cream
2 T. Chives chopped

Directions:

Rub meat with sliced garlic then cut meat into thin strips cutting against the grain. Mix flour and spices in a gallon plastic bag. Coat meat with flour mixture in bag. Reserve remaining mixture if any. Brown meat while adding onions. Add any remaining flour, consommé, water and mushrooms. Cover and cook until meat is tender about 8 minutes. Remove cover and continue cooking until mixture has thickened. Add sour cream and chives and stir. Serve over rice or wide egg noodles.
