Ingredients: 16 oz. linguine pasta 3 chicken breasts sliced 1 stick butter 1/4 c. vegetable oil to sauté chicken 2 tbsp. garlic, minced 1 small green bell pepper, sliced 1 small red bell pepper, sliced 1/2 onion, diced 1 c. chicken broth 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream 1/3 c. pasta water Garlic powder, salt and black pepper to taste 2 tbsp. parsley flakes 2 tbsp. chili powder

Directions: |
Directions:Boil pasta according to directions and set aside. Be sure to save at least a half cup of the water for mixture.
Season sliced chicken breast with the salt, pepper and garlic powder to your liking.
Sauté chicken breast in oil until cooked through.
Add minced garlic, onions and bell pepper and sauté about 5-7 minutes or until wilted.
Add the chicken broth and let simmer for another 5 minutes to let the chicken and vegetables marry together.
Add butter, and cook until melted.
Add heavy cream and simmer until liquid starts to thicken, then add more seasoning if needed and add your chili powder.
Once liquid has thickened, Add cooked pasta and pasta water and toss until blended well. |
