Directions:
Directions:
My Directions are so vague, original recipe called for Hogshead Meat. If very fat, add some lean beef. Grind through grinder, strain broth and thicken with oats. Season with salt.

Then add ground meat, season more to taste with salt, pepper, and a hint of allspice.

Irene Meyers recipe is 3 lb beef, 2 lb mildly seasoned sausage. Cook & proceed as above.

(Pork shoulder makes a good substitute for hogshead)
