1 lb browned ground beef
1 diced onion
few shakes garlic powder (optional)
1 24 oz jar pasta sauce
1 cup water
1 15 oz container low fat ricotta cheese
1 16 oz package shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, divided
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning or parsley
12 no boil lasagne noodle pieces

1. Preheat oven to 350 In a large bowl combine burger, onion, garlic powder, pasta sauce. Use the water to rinse all the sauce out of the jar.

2. In another medium bowl, combine ricotta, 1/2 cup of mozzarella, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, eggs, and Italian seasoning.

3. LAYER
Spread 1 cup meat sauce to cover bottom of pan.
Layer 4 uncooked lasagna noodles on top of sauce.
Top with half ricotta mixture.
Layer 4 uncooked lasagna noodles on top of ricotta.
Spread with a scant cup of sauce.
Top with remaining ricotta mixture.
Layer 4 uncooked lasagna noodles on top of ricotta.
Top with remaining sauce, spreading evenly.
Sprinkle the rest of mozzarella and parmesan cheese over all.

4. Cover with foil that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake 45 minutes, remove foil and continue baking for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool 10 minutes before serving. Makes 12 servings

Can add a 10 ounce package frozen spinach that has been thawed and drained well to sauce mixture and omit beef.
