For a 9 inch pie:

10 apples, sliced thin
1 tablespoon lemon
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, core, and slice apples to your desired thickness. In a large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice and set aside.

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon and set aside.

Toss apples with sugar mixture until dry ingredients are moistened. Soften butter, almost to a liquid, mix into apple mixture.

Line pie shell with apples, top with pie dough.

Bake at 375º for 60 to 70 minutes. The pie juices should be bubbling in the center and the crust will take on a golden color.

Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving (this will allow juices to thicken).
