3/4 C. Shortening
1 C. Sugar
1 Egg (Beaten)
1/4 C. Molasses
2 C. Sifted Flour
1 T. Ginger
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, sugar and egg.
Add molasses and then mix the remaining
ingredients.

Chill dough for 2 hours and then roll into
balls and then roll balls into sugar and place
onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake @ 350º for 12 - 15 minutes
