1 3/4 cup flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars together. Add unbeaten egg and vanilla, and beat. Sift together dry ingredients and blend gradually with the creamed mixture. Mix thoroughly and shape into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in white sugar and bake in 375 degree oven for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and top each cookie with an unwrapped chocolate kiss. Return to oven, and bake 2-5 minutes longer. Cool on wire rack.
